Our refund policy is fairly simple.
A potential member is encouraged to visit the Association at a club meeting or two before joining. After the second visited meeting, a membership should be purchased if participation is desired.
Because of this “try before you buy” model, there are no refunds offered on memberships.
Classes held by the Association are offered in partnership with the Washington Beekeepers Association (WASBA), which is the certifying agency.
We purchase the training manuals used in the class from WASBA several weeks before the class is held, and they are not refundable to the association in case of cancellation.
Therefore, in the case of cancellation, any potential refund to the student will be reduced by the fees paid to WASBA, plus any credit card or PayPal fees related to the enrollment.
