Welcome to the Backyard Beekeepers Association!
The Backyard Beekeepers Association is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization founded in May 2015. Our mission is to promote the art and technique of beekeeping through education and support of small scale backyard hobbyist beekeepers and interested non-beekeepers.
The goal of our Association is to educate members to be practical, responsible and successful as they tend their hives; and to increase public knowledge about the importance honey bees have to our environment, our ecology and our food production.
We seek to accomplish this goal through online and local classes, public event presentations, and monthly community meetings were we share our ideas and experiences.
If you want to become a beekeeper or are interested in saving the honey bee, Join Us and find out what the buzz is all about!
